Kordon is a preconstruction termite barrier that can be installed on various types of jobs. Pictured here is a new build on a property located in Mascot NSW, you can see the Kordon termite barrier being installed around service penetrations. This is applied before the concrete is poured and will deter termites from trying to gain entry into your home through cracks or crevices that may form between the conduit piping and the concrete. The barrier is designed to expel the termites from gaining access to your home via subterranean tunnels, the termites should then be visible as they are pushed from underneath your home to the outside and will be easily identifiable by an inspection from an accredited timber pest inspector.
